Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Quo — our app, website, and related services (the “Service”), provided by Quo LLC. By using the Service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use it.

1. Provider

Quo LLC, Wegacker 52, 9493 Mauren, Liechtenstein · hey@quo.space. Full company details are in our Imprint.

2. The Service

Quo is a map-based travel guide for adding, organizing, and sharing places and accessing curated content. Features may change over time, and some require a paid subscription.

3. Accounts

You can browse Quo without an account; some features require one. Keep your login secure — you’re responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent in your country. Tell us at hey@quo.space about any unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are shown with their price and billing interval at purchase; taxes are added where required. Subscriptions renew automatically each interval until you cancel; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. If you buy through a third-party store (e.g. the Apple App Store), that store handles billing, renewal, and cancellation under its own terms.

5. Your Content

You keep ownership of content you add (places, lists, notes, comments). You grant Quo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and display it as needed to run the Service and to share it as you direct. Don’t post unlawful, infringing, or abusive content, violate others’ rights, or misuse the Service (e.g. scraping, reverse engineering, spam, malware). We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these Terms or the law.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its content (excluding your content) belong to Quo LLC or its licensors. “Quo” and related marks are our trademarks. You get a limited, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Disclaimer and Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. We don’t warrant it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that place data is accurate or current. To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential damage or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, and our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for intent or gross negligence, for personal injury or death caused by our negligence, and under mandatory product-liability law.

8. Suspension and Termination

You can stop using Quo and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, the law requires it, or to protect the Service or its users. Terms that should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability) do.

9. Changes

We may change the Service or these Terms for valid reasons. For material changes we’ll give reasonable notice (in-app or by email); if you don’t agree, cancel before they take effect. Continued use afterwards means you accept them. Changes don’t apply retroactively to periods already paid for.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Liechtenstein law applies (excluding its conflict-of-law rules), and the courts of Vaduz have jurisdiction to the extent the law allows; mandatory consumer protections in your home country remain unaffected. We don’t participate in consumer arbitration board proceedings, but we’ll try to resolve any dispute with you directly — email hey@quo.space.

11. Apple App Store

When you use the Quo iOS app obtained through the Apple App Store:

  • These Terms are between you and Quo LLC only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
  • Your license is a non-transferable license to use the app on any Apple-branded device you own or control, per the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide support. Direct support requests to hey@quo.space.
  • To the extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation; on a warranty failure you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any), and otherwise Quo LLC is responsible for warranties.
  • Quo LLC, not Apple, is responsible for claims relating to the app (including product liability, legal/regulatory compliance, consumer protection, and third-party IP infringement).
  • You represent that you are not in a country under a U.S. Government embargo or designated “terrorist supporting”, and are not on any U.S. Government prohibited or restricted-party list.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
